Georg Ackermann
Team Leader, Media Analysts, Singapore
Georg is team leader for media analysts and report writers in the Singapore office. He joined Dow Jones in 2000 and since then has worked in different areas for our corporate products, both in Europe and Asia. In his current role, Georg is aligning our Asian-language resources with an increasing demand for analysis on the region. He supports regional sales and marketing on product-specific questions and advises on viability of media analysis and measurement projects. Georg enjoys Asian food and European football

David Breg
Media Consultant, Washington, D.C.
David Breg has been a media consultant with Dow Jones since 2006. He has advised more than 30 companies in such industries as airlines, automobiles, consumer brands and telecommunications on their media measurement and analysis programs. Prior to coming to Dow Jones, David managed the research division of a major public relations agency and served as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Dennis Daly
Media Lab Manager, Princeton
Dennis manages the team of media analysts, report writers and quality assurance specialists. Dennis has a B.A. in International Relations from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and an M.B.A. from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and has worked at Dow Jones for 13 years. He has been in his current position since February 2008.
Matt Donahue
Business Manager, Virginia
Matt has over ten years experience in the Public Relations sector, with a specialization in media measurement and analysis. He came to Dow Jones in May 2007 after serving as a Director at CARMA International. Matt is accredited by the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) and has worked to deliver media analysis and measurement solutions to clients across several industries including financial services, consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive, pharmaceutical and the chemical industry. He holds a Bachelors degree in International Communication and German from American University in Washington, D.C. Matt is also an avid cyclist, competing in the Mid-Atlantic region in the racing disciplines of mountain biking, road cycling, and cyclocross. Matt also is the promoter and organizer of DCCX, Washington DC’s only cyclocross race, held annually in late October.
Damien A DuPont, PhD
Media Analyst / Report Writer, New York
Damien joined Dow Jones full time in 2008 to write daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for clients in numerous industries around the world. He is particularly interested in the financial and healthcare industries, emerging markets and the influence of social media. He maintains several blogs, a very active Twitter feed and enjoys thinking and writing about politics, business and the nature of online influence and the future of online privacy. Damien earned his PhD in Philosophy in 2009, specializing in Ancient Greek Philosophy, Early Modern Philosophy and Moral Psychology. In his free time he enjoys reading, writing and taking advantage of all New York City has to offer, and he is an avid sports fan with a growing interest in “non-American” football.
Denise Kestler
Business Manager for Europe and Asia Pacific Regions, London
Denise joined Dow Jones in 1998 and she has responsibility for understanding market drivers for her regions within the PR and communications space to ensure that our product development aligns to the needs of our customers. Her background is originally in sales with experience in a number of sectors including legal and consumer goods. She has successfully worked on the vendor side of PR and communications for more than six years. Denise has two small children and lives just outside London.

Lusine Kodagolian
Media Consultant, Washington, D.C.
Lusine has more than 15 years of professional and academic communications and measurement experience, having designed and implemented successful measurement programs for a number of Fortune 1000 companies and federal government clients. Lusine specializes in designing goal-driven traditional and social media measurement programs that link clients’ communications efforts to key business objectives. She holds an MS degree in Mass Communications/Research from San Jose State University and an MA degree in international relations from the American University of Armenia. Lusine is a voracious reader, having read quite a few books on BBC’s list of 100 Books. She is also a pianist and wine-, cheese- and coffee-lover. One day, she hopes to add yoga to that list. Lusine lives with her husband and two children in the Washington DC metro area.

Emi Nakatsugawa
Global Manager, Media Consultant Team, New York
Emi has spent the last 15 years conducting media analysis for clients, focusing on pharmaceutical, consumer product, technology and campaign-based analyses for Fortune 500 companies and international organizations. Joining Dow Jones in 2007, Emi now manages the global team of media consultants who guide analysis programs and share best practices in media analysis across press and social media content.
Brian Panton
Report Writer/QAS, Washington, D.C.
Brian joined Dow Jones in 2008 and assumed the role of both quality assurance specialist and report writer. Before joining Dow Jones, he spent over five years as an internal media analyst and consultant to the media measurement and analysis industry. He has managed projects and compiled analyses for diverse industries within the Fortune 1000 including automotive, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, energy, financial services and consumer products.
Barry Parr
Media Consultant, San Francisco
Barry Parr has been in online media since the beginning. He co-created two pioneering online news sites, for the San Jose Mercury News and CNET’s News.com. He claims to have invented the banner ad. Barry has been blogging since 2002 and built one of country’s first hyperlocal journalism sites. He lives in the Brussels sprout capital of the world: Montara, California, on the fog-shrouded coast of the San Francisco peninsula.
Koen Platteeuw
Media Consultant, Barcelona
Koen joined Dow Jones in 2001 and has worked in a variety of media research roles since then. He’s worked closely with clients in the pharmaceutical, food, agricultural and chemicals industries, as well as the transportation and logistics sectors. Koen is accredited by the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) and holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Journalism from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
Carmen Sandin
Reporter – Media Lab, Barcelona
Carmen Sandin composes insightful executive reports based on the media measurement output of the Dow Jones Insight text-mining platform. Carmen holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting and joined Dow Jones as an Italian language Media Analyst in 2009. A native Spanish and Catalan speaker and fluent in English and Italian, Carmen is an enthusiastic language learner, passionate traveler and self confessed movie addict.

Claudia Schoenbohm, MAMEC
Media Consultant, London
Claudia joined Dow Jones in 2006 as a report writer, conducting daily media analyses of mainstream and consumer-generated media for senior PR executives. Claudia’s Master’s thesis at the London School of Economics looked into the role of alternative media in the Iranian protests in 2009. Fluent in English, Spanish and German, Claudia currently works as a Media Consultant with clients in Europe and AsiaPac out of Dow Jones’ London, U.K., office.
Elena Sokolova
Media Consultant, London
Elena has worked for more than 11 years in media evaluation and analysis. Her clients include global companies and European governmental and philanthropic organizations. She has covered a number of multinational clients in high-tech, pharmaceutical and computer software industries providing project management, team training and delivery of reports to clients. Elena joined Dow Jones in summer 2008, bringing invaluable experience in innovative media solutions and work in multicultural environments. She holds an MBA from Middlesex University in London and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Moscow. She is fluent in English and Russian, with a working knowledge of German and French. Elena is interested in music and arts, and has done translations of arts catalogues in the past. She currently lives in London.
Christophe Torrent

Christophe joined Dow Jones in 2006 as Content Creation Specialist and then moved as Media Analyst in 2008. In his role he provides qualitative and quantitative analysis of media coverage and country analysis reports. He holds a postgraduate degree in Publishing and he considers himself as a fanatic reader. Always curious, he likes to discover the world by foot as well as through the lens of the internet.
Mark Wrafter
Report Writer – Media Lab, Barcelona
Mark compiles media reports for senior PR executives in Europe. With a love for all things web-related, he was involved in a few web oddities, one of which The New York Times called “a macabre niche in the online economy”. Perhaps he’ll tell you more about it one day. Mark likes nothing better than shielding his laptop screen from the glaring sun in some distant exotic land.
